The RFS100 is a Simplex RFS series single-acting low height (flat jack) hydraulic cylinder. It offers 100 ton (889.6 kN) capacity, a 15.7 mm (0.62 in) stroke and a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi). Collapsed height is 85.9 mm, extended height 101.6 mm, body length 177.8 mm, body width 152.4 mm and weight approx. 14.1 kg (31 lb). Effective area is 126.6 cm² and required oil capacity is 201.6 cm³. The body is steel with a solid plunger. It is used where high force must be applied in tight spaces. A powerful return spring brings the plunger quickly back to its starting position.
