About This Product

RAL1004 is one of the Simplex RAL series aluminum locknut hydraulic cylinders. It is a single-acting, spring-return cylinder with 100 ton (889.6 kN) capacity and 101.6 mm (4 in) stroke. Maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi). Collapsed height is 263.7 mm, extended height 365.3 mm, body outside diameter 203.2 mm, bore diameter 130.3 mm and effective area 133.4 cm². Required oil capacity is 1327.4 cm³ and weight is approx. 24.9 kg (55 lb). The hard anodized aluminum body is lightweight and less corrosive than steel. The lock nut holds the load mechanically for extended periods. It is used in industrial lifting, pushing and installation work.
