R57 is a single-acting, general purpose hydraulic cylinder from the Simplex R series. It offers 5 ton (44.5 kN) capacity and 182.4 mm stroke, with a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi). Ram bore diameter is 28.7 mm, effective area 6.4 cm² and required oil capacity 114.1 cm³. Extended height is 455.4 mm and body outside diameter is 38.1 mm. The body is steel and the plunger is solid. The threaded collar allows flexible fixturing. It is used in general industrial pushing and lifting applications.
