R55 is a single-acting general purpose hydraulic cylinder from the Simplex R series. It has a 5 ton (44.5 kN) capacity and a 130.3 mm stroke, with a maximum working pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi). It has a steel body and a solid plunger. Extended height is 346.7 mm, body outside diameter is 38.1 mm, effective area is 6.4 cm² and required oil volume is 81.4 cm³.
