R51 is a single-acting general purpose hydraulic cylinder from the Simplex R series. It has a 5 ton (44.5 kN) capacity and a 28.7 mm stroke, with a maximum working pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi). It has a steel body and a solid plunger. Extended height is 139.7 mm, body outside diameter is 38.1 mm, effective area is 6.4 cm² and required oil volume is 16.2 cm³. The internal piston thread and the threaded collar on the body provide different fixturing options. It is used in general purpose industrial applications.
