The R108 is a single-acting general purpose hydraulic cylinder from the Simplex R series. It offers 10 ton (89.0 kN) capacity and 203.2 mm stroke, with an internal spring for piston retraction. Technical values: ram bore 42.9 mm, effective area 14.5 cm², required oil capacity 293.2 cm³, extended height 502.4 mm, body outside diameter 57.2 mm, weight approx. 5.4 kg. Maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi); the body is steel with a solid plunger. It is used in general industrial pushing, lifting, pressing and fixturing applications. The threaded collar gives flexibility when mounting the cylinder in fixtures.
