R101 is a Simplex R Series single-acting general purpose hydraulic cylinder. It offers 10 ton (89.0 kN) capacity and a 26.2 mm (1.03 in) stroke, with a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi). Retraction is by a heavy-duty internal spring. Collapsed height is 88.9 mm, extended height 115.1 mm, piston diameter 38.1 mm, required oil capacity 37.7 cm³ and weight approx. 1.8 kg. The body is steel and the plunger is solid. It is used in compact general purpose industrial applications.
