About This Product

The NSH3646 is a 20 ton (200 kN) hydraulic nut splitter. It cuts 36–46 mm (1.42–1.81 in) hexagon nuts on M24–M30 bolts. Maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi) and oil capacity is 80 cm³. It is single-acting with spring return. The heat-treated steel blade cuts from one side and an internal spring returns it to the starting position. A revolving composite handle isolates vibration and shock. The safety lanyard and revolving anchor point are drop tested. It suits flange nut splitting jobs in the oil and gas industries. Maximum allowable hardness to split is ASTM A194 Gr 2H; do not use on square nuts or stainless steel. A CR400 female half coupler is standard.
