About This Product

The FSH14 is a flange spreader from the FS series with an integrated hydraulic cylinder. It opens the jaws with hydraulic force, unlike the mechanical FSM8, which relies on a ratchet mechanism. Maximum spreading force is 14 ton (125 kN) at a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi). Maximum spread is 80 mm (3.16 in) and tip clearance is only 6 mm (0.24 in). Oil capacity is 78 cm³ and weight is 7.1 kg. A friction-free, parallel wedge movement prevents flange damage and spreading arm failure. The tool is used to separate flanged joints quickly and in a controlled way during maintenance, gasket replacement and assembly work. A safety block SB1 is included.
