About This Product

The NC5060 is a hydraulic nut cutter from the Enerpac NC series. It has a capacity of 50 tons (490 kN) and a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi), and suits 50–60 mm (2.00–2.25 in) hexagon nuts on M33–M39 bolts. Oil capacity is 240 cm³, length is 366 mm and width is 106 mm. The heat-treated steel blade cuts from one side and an internal spring returns it to the starting position. It is a single-acting design and the chisels can be reground. The replacement chisel code is NCB5060. It is used in maintenance and assembly work where seized or corroded nuts must be removed without damaging the joint components. It is not suited for square, star, round or stainless steel nuts; the maximum hardness of nuts to be split is HRC 44.
