About This Product

The NC3241 is a hydraulic nut cutter from the Enerpac NC series. It has a capacity of 20 tons (196 kN) and a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi), and suits 32–41 mm (1.13–1.56 in) hexagon nuts on M22–M27 bolts. Oil capacity is 80 cm³, length is 286 mm and width is 75 mm. The heat-treated steel blade cuts from one side and an internal spring returns it to the starting position. It is a single-acting design and the chisels can be reground. The replacement chisel code is NCB3241. It is used in maintenance and assembly work where seized or corroded nuts must be removed without damaging the joint components. It is not suited for square, star, round or stainless steel nuts; the maximum hardness of nuts to be split is HRC 44.
