About This Product

DDU1636 is a hydraulically driven casing double pin drilling machine that can drill two lift pin holes in a single operation. It locks onto the workpiece with a quick clamp swing gate mechanism. Clamping diameter is 406-915 mm (16-36 in) and pin diameter is 100-305 mm (4-12 in). Helical gear driven spindles run at 10-31 rpm, manual feed is 4 mm per revolution (0.157 in) and cutting stroke is 400 mm. Drive output at 72 bar is 4.47 kW (6 hp), and 50 L/min (13 gal/min) of hydraulic supply is required for maximum power on both spindles. Machine weight is 706 kg. It is often used together with a band saw for drilling and cutting in decommissioning of pipelines, conductors, caissons and multiple grouted strings.
