SHAS422540WE is an autonomous synchronous hoist system from the SHAS series. It is a below-the-hook sling adjuster (hydraulic turnbuckle) made up of multiple self-contained, PLC-controlled hydraulic lifting units. Each unit includes a double-acting push/pull cylinder with an integrated pump and controls, so no external power pack or hoses are needed. The system has 4 cylinders with a total capacity of 900 tons (991 imperial tons), 1000 mm (39.37 in) stroke, 700 bar (10,000 psi) maximum operating pressure, and 1 mm accuracy over full stroke. Collapsed height is 2140 mm, extended height is 3140 mm, cylinder diameter is 420 mm, and protective shroud diameter is 1235 mm. Motor size is 4 x 8.0 kW (4 x 10 hp) and the supply is 460-480 VAC, 3 ph, 60 Hz with EU electrical wiring. Wireless control allows a single operator to work from a safe distance, and each cylinder can lift or lower independently. It is used in lifting and lowering applications where heavy, unbalanced loads must be positioned precisely with a single crane.
