The SHAS411060WE is a below-the-hook sling adjuster (hydraulic turnbuckle) made up of multiple self-contained, PLC-controlled hydraulic lifting devices, enabling a single crane to precisely position heavy and unbalanced loads. Each unit includes a double-acting hydraulic push-pull cylinder with an integrated pump and controls, so no external power pack or hoses are needed. The system has 4 cylinders with a total capacity of 440 tons (485 imperial tons, 1078 kN). Stroke is 1500 mm (59.06 in), maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi), and accuracy over full stroke is 1 mm (0.04 in). Cylinder diameter is 315 mm and motor size is 4 x 4.0 kW; the electrical wiring is EU type. Collapsed height is 2355 mm and extended height is 3855 mm. With the wireless remote control, a single operator can control the system from a safe distance, and each cylinder can lift or lower independently. The complete system is tested in compliance with the European lifting directive and safety requirements.
