About This Product

The NC4150D is a two-blade hydraulic nut cutter from the Enerpac NC series. It has a capacity of 35 tons (343 kN) and a maximum operating pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi), and suits 41–50 mm (1.56–2.00 in) hexagon nuts on M27–M33 bolts. Weight is 13.8 kg (30.4 lb). The two-blade design splits the nut from two sides in a single stroke. It uses a single-acting, spring-return cylinder and the chisels can be reground. The set includes a spare chisel, a spare set screw, a wrench and a CR400 coupler. It is used in maintenance and assembly work where seized or corroded nuts must be removed without damaging the joint components. It is not suited for square, star, round or stainless steel nuts; the maximum hardness of nuts to be split is HRC 44.
