LSA3848-H is a hydraulic line stop actuator in the Enerpac Hot Tapping and Line Stopping series. It is designed for plugging head sizes of 965–1219 mm (38–48 in) and provides 495 kN extend and 387 kN retract capacity at 70 bar with a 3556 mm (140 in) stroke. Maximum working pressure is 102 bar and maximum continuous operating temperature is 83 °C. It weighs 1550 kg and requires a variable-flow hydraulic supply. It allows a section of pressurized pipeline to be temporarily isolated for repair, maintenance and modification, avoiding service interruption and costly shutdowns.
