Hydraulic Servo and Proportional Valves

A hydraulic servo valve is a valve which controls how and when hydraulic fluid is delivered to a hydraulic actuator. Typically, servo valves are controlled electronically and are known as EHSVs, or electrohydraulic servo valves. A hydraulic proportional valve, meanwhile, controls the level of pressure in a cylinder or motor. These valves have also been used for a long time and play a critical role in many hydraulic machines. They're often used in the manufacturing industry for processes like blow molding, as well as in the world of aircrafts, controlling the flow of fuel to the engine.
