Dosing Pumps and Metering Pumps are used in applications where the product needs to be flowed at a finite and slow volume. Used in applications where the flows are generally measured in gallons per hour or less, rather than gallons per minute. These pumps are generally positive displacement pumps of various designs including piston, peristaltic, or flexible-member diaphragm pumps. These pumps generally allow for varied flow rates to change the displacement in order to meet the application requirements. May be used for chemical injection, food coloring and additives, water treatment and general industry applications.
