About This Product

SE18 is a screw end trench brace from the Simplex SE series. It provides efficient, economical protection against cave-ins and costly re-digging in construction and maintenance work. It extends by turning the lever nut handle. Adjust range is 254 mm (10 in), pipe size 50.8 mm (2 in), minimum pipe length 457.2 mm and screw outside diameter 47.5 mm. Base size is 190.5 x 69.9 mm and height is 76.2 mm. The power source is mechanical. Ball socket joints tilt on angular mounting, and holes at each end allow mounting to wood members. The design is CE compliant and meets or exceeds ANSI/ASME B30.1 standards.
