CSM571 is a single-acting, spring return workholding cylinder from the Enerpac CSM series, designed to be screwed directly into a manifold cavity in the fixture body. Oil is supplied through the manifold, so no separate fittings or tubing are required. At a maximum operating pressure of 345 bar (5000 psi), the cylinder delivers 5.3 kN (1190 lbf) of force. Stroke is 7.1 mm (0.28 in), effective area approx. 1.55 cm² (0.24 in²), advance oil capacity approx. 1.15 cm³ (0.07 in³) and weight approx. 0.18 kg (0.4 lb). It has a steel body and a solid plunger, with a .875-14 UN (SAE) body thread and a #8-32 UN plunger thread. Typical applications are clamping and holding in machining fixtures, especially compact fixture designs with limited space.
