About This Product

The CRA1029R is a mechanical (lever-operated) reel jack from the Simplex CR series. It is designed to lift and support cable, hose and similar reels, using drop-forged, heat-treated alloy steel components and multiple-tooth pawls for safe lifting. Used as a pair, it is rated 20 ton (177.9 kN) on the top hooks and 10 ton on the side hooks. Stroke is 295.4 mm (11.63 in), extended height 1085.9 mm and handle effort 2.0 kg per ton. A treated laminated hardwood base provides solid support, and a center-mounted carrying handle makes positioning easy. Steel lever bars are sold separately. Typical applications include cable reel pay-out, field cable pulling, and reel handling in power and infrastructure projects. The design is CE compliant and meets or exceeds ANSI/ASME B30.1 safety standards.
