About This Product

CATS400 is a tilt saddle designed for 400 ton Enerpac HCG, HCL and HCR series hydraulic cylinders. Fitted to the plunger end, it increases the contact area between the load and the cylinder and reduces the effect of side loads on the cylinder. The saddle offers a 5° tilt angle, a diameter of 210 mm (8.27 in), adds 48 mm (1.89 in) to the collapsed height and weighs 13.9 kg (30.65 lb). It can be bolted to the cylinder, allowing safe use in any orientation. A nitrocarburization surface treatment provides improved corrosion protection. It is used in heavy lifting, bridge and structural engineering, machinery positioning and maintenance work, helping extend cylinder life where loads are not perfectly square or long stroke cylinders are extended.
