About This Product

CATS103 is a tilt saddle designed for the 100 ton class RCS1002 low height hydraulic cylinder. Its 5° tilt increases the contact area with the load and reduces side loading on the cylinder, helping to extend cylinder life. The saddle diameter is 71 mm (2.8 in) and it adds 35 mm (1.38 in) to the cylinder's collapsed height. Because it can be bolted to the cylinder, it can be used in any orientation without the risk of the saddle dropping off. A nitrocarburized surface treatment improves corrosion resistance. It is used for lifting, alignment and support work in confined spaces where the load cannot be placed perfectly square.
