Human Machine Interface

There are many different forms of human machine interface, from machine control panels with buttons and switches to digital HMI control software on a tablet or computer. An HMI control panel gives the user the opportunity to push different buttons to turn a machine on or off and program certain functions. A human machine interface system on a digital device also allows the user to interact with a machine of some kind and control the way it works.
