Ball Valves
Hydraulic ball valves control the flow of fluid. They are quarter-turn valves that consist of a central sphere inside a valve. The sphere has a large hole, or port, that allows liquid to flow from one side of the valve to the other when the valve is open. When the valve is closed, the ball is turned perpendicular so the fluid cannot enter the port. Hydraulic ball valves have handles to maneuver the ball into the desired position. They commonly come in two-way, three-way, and four-way forms.
