CPY-POS - Pressure-Operated Switch. Used in Siemens - Fire Safety Sinorix Engineered Fire Suppression Systems, the pressure-Operated Switch, Model CPY-POS, is used to signal a Siemens fire alarm control panel when discharge occurs. The panel, in turn, will perform its assigned shutdown / interlock functions in the event of manual mechanical release of the agent. Model CPY-POS may be optionally connected to the port marked ‘M’ on the respective Sinorix cylinder valve. The maximum length of connecting tubing or pipe shall either be 50 feet (15.2m) for the 1" (2.5 cm.) or 1-1/2" (3.8 cm.) valve, or 30 feet (9.1m) for the 2-1/2" (6.4 cm.) or 4” (10.2 cm.) valve. Model CPY-POS, which is designed as three-pole, double-throw type, is UL, ULC Listed as well as FM, CSFM and NYCFD Approved.
