AIC - Audio Input Card. Designed for use with a Siemens Modular (or a FireFinder XLS) fire-alarm control panel, the Audio Input Card (Model AIC) provides two (2) external isolated analog inputs and provides two (2) dry-contact inputs used to separately activate the two (2) audio inputs. These two external isolated analog inputs to the voice system for external sources, such as tape recorder, CD player, PBX interface for convenience paging form the telephone system. The two (2) dry-contact inputs activate the inputs separately, allowing each input to be controlled automatically via system logic. Model AIC is a CAN Network card and allowable addresses are from 01 to 99. The input levels can be adjusted manually with push buttons on a Model AIC Card front panel or configured in the software configuration tools, ZEUS.
