HZM - Conventional Zone Module. Designed use with the FireFinder XLS System, the HZM Remote Conventional Zone Module connects a single zone of conventional devices to an analog loop powering up to 15 Series 3 and Series 11 two-wire ionization and photoelectric smoke detectors or one beam detector (PBA-1191) with no additional devices. It can also monitor listed alarm causing shorting devices such as waterflow switches, thermal detectors, manual stations, etc. Each HZM can be assigned a 32 character custom alphanumeric message. The multi-color LED indicates the condition of the circuit with red for alarm, yellow for trouble and green for normal operation. The HZM supports both Class A (Style D) or Class B (Style B) wiring and occupies one address on the DLC circuit. The HZM is programmed and tested using the DPU Device Programming/Test Unit. UL and ULC Listed, CSFM and NYMEA Approved
