About This Product

The SWE8550D is a digital torque multiplier from the Sweeney Tools line. Maximum output torque is 6780 Nm (5000 ft-lbs) with a 26.5:1 torque ratio. The input drive is 12.7 mm (1/2") square female and the output drive is 38 mm (1-1/2") square female. The unit comes with a tethered full color touch screen display. The display's internal memory logs each torquing application, and logged events can be exported via email or memory stick. A combination of spur and planetary gears gives high overall efficiency, allowing low input torque while producing high output torque. Dimensions are 142 x 142 x 193 mm and weight is 14.5 kg (32 lb).
