Enerpac SLS3 SafeLink SEND Unit, 3 Inputs

The SLS3 is the SEND unit of the SafeLink wireless communication system. It is mounted on the fixture and wirelessly transmits the status of the pressure switch that monitors circuit pressure to the RECEIVE unit connected to the machine control. The unit has 3 inputs and uses an external antenna. It operates on the 2.4 GHz global standard frequency with 21 dBm conducted transmit power and an IP67 rating (dust tight, immersion up to 1 meter). The output is +24 VDC NMOS sinking. The receiver unit takes +10 to +30 VDC supplied by the machine control. When the pressure switch opens, the receiver reports the change to the machine control through 24 VDC, Modbus RTU RS485, Ethernet IP or Modbus TCP/IP, and the control can interrupt the machining process. The unit can also be used with limit switch based position sensing clamps to verify clamped or unclamped status in robotically loaded systems.
