Enerpac Rotor Removal System Generator Rotor Tool

RotorRemovalSystem is a custom-developed product for removing and installing the rotor (field) in a power plant generator. It is designed to suit the varying dimensions and difficult accessibility of generators. Configurable hydraulic solutions push, pull and position the rotor at multiple height requirements. The system has two main parts: the platform and the push-pull system. The platform aligns the push-pull system with the rotor; its design optimizes ground bearing pressure and platform stability while the rotor is removed, and it can be shipped and stored in a 20 ft shipping container. The push-pull system applies the hydraulic force needed to pull and push the rotor into the stator and includes two trolleys, a trolley track, an anti-rotation box, rotor bracing blocks and a power unit. Existing methods of removing a rotor from a stator are labor intensive and need many operators and close coordination. A hydraulic system can significantly reduce the time and labor required. It is intended for power plant generator maintenance and overhaul work.
