About This Product
RLN4002 is a single-acting steel locknut hydraulic cylinder from the RLN series. It offers 400 ton (3558.6 kN) capacity, 50.8 mm (2 in) stroke and 700 bar (10,000 psi) maximum operating pressure. The plunger is a solid type.
The cylinder has a 236.5 mm piston diameter, 355.6 mm body outside diameter, 558.6 cm² effective area, 2851.3 cm³ required oil capacity and weighs approximately 235.9 kg. Collapsed height is 350.8 mm and extended height is 401.6 mm. Pressure at capacity is 637 bar (9238 psi).
The locknut holds the raised load mechanically. It is used in industrial applications where very heavy loads must be lifted and held.
