RAL15010 is one of the Simplex RAL series aluminum locknut hydraulic cylinders. It is a single-acting, spring-return cylinder with 150 ton (1334.5 kN) capacity and 254 mm (10 in) stroke. Maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi). Collapsed height is 416.1 mm, extended height 670.1 mm, body outside diameter 254 mm, bore diameter 158.8 mm and effective area 197.9 cm². Required oil capacity is 4965.3 cm³ and weight is approx. 70.8 kg (156 lb). The hard anodized aluminum body weighs roughly half as much as an equivalent steel cylinder, and the lock nut holds the load mechanically for extended periods. It is used in heavy industrial lifting, pushing and installation applications.
