RAL1006 is one of the Simplex RAL series aluminum locknut hydraulic cylinders. It is a single-acting, spring-return cylinder with 100 ton (889.6 kN) capacity and 152.4 mm (6 in) stroke. Maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi). Collapsed height is 314.5 mm, extended height 466.9 mm, body outside diameter 203.2 mm, bore diameter 130.3 mm and effective area 133.4 cm². Required oil capacity is 1991 cm³ and weight is approx. 29.0 kg (64 lb). The aluminum body improves portability, and the lock nut allows the load to be held mechanically for extended periods. It is used in industrial maintenance, lifting, pushing and installation applications.
