RAL1002 is one of the Simplex RAL series aluminum locknut hydraulic cylinders. It is a single-acting, spring-return cylinder with 100 ton (889.6 kN) capacity and 50.8 mm (2 in) stroke. Maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi). Collapsed height is 212.9 mm, extended height 263.7 mm, body outside diameter 203.2 mm, bore diameter 130.3 mm and effective area 133.4 cm². Required oil capacity is 663.8 cm³ and weight is approx. 20.4 kg (45 lb). Its short stroke suits lifting, pushing and alignment work where space is limited. The lock nut allows the load to be held mechanically for extended periods.
