RAL10010 is part of the Simplex RAL series of aluminum locknut hydraulic cylinders. It is a single-acting, spring-return cylinder with 100 ton (889.6 kN) capacity and 254 mm (10 in) stroke. Maximum operating pressure is 700 bar (10,000 psi). Collapsed height is 416.1 mm, extended height 670.1 mm, body outside diameter 203.2 mm, bore diameter 130.3 mm and effective area 133.4 cm². Required oil capacity is 3318.4 cm³ and weight is approx. 37.2 kg (82 lb). The hard anodized aluminum body weighs roughly half as much as an equivalent steel cylinder. The lock nut allows the load to be held mechanically for extended periods. A carrying handle, stop rings and a wiper are included. It is used in industrial maintenance, installation, lifting and pushing applications where portability matters.
