About This Product

The MRS2001 is a positive clamping hydraulic cylinder from the MRS workholding series. It provides about 16.5 kN (3,700 lbs) of force with a 2.5 mm (0.10 in) effective clamping stroke. Required operating pressure is 185 bar and maximum operating pressure is 350 bar. Clamping force is maintained by heavy disk springs, while hydraulic pressure is used for release. The hollow plunger and threaded body simplify retrofitting from mechanical clamping and mounting directly into a fixture plate. Oil capacity is 11.96 cm³ and weight is approximately 2.1 kg. It is used for workpiece clamping and pushing in fixtures and on machine tables.
