Enerpac JS250 250 ton Jack-Up System

JS250 is a jack-up system, a custom-developed multi-point lifting system. It provides 250 metric ton (2500 kN; 275 imperial ton) capacity per tower. A typical setup places four jack-up units, one under each corner of the load. The lifting frame of each unit contains four hydraulic lifting cylinders, one in each corner. The load is lifted in increments as steel barrels are slid into the system, lifted and stacked, forming lifting towers. The system is operated by a computer control unit; lifting and lowering occur simultaneously and synchronous technology maintains load balance. Maximum lifting speed is about 4 m/h (13 ft/h) and maximum side load is 3% at 10 m. Weight per jack-up unit is 7500 kg. Base frame dimensions are 2250 x 2050 x 1475 mm. It is used for heavy lifting, holding and lowering applications.
