About This Product

HP50 is a Simplex HP series thermoplastic high-pressure hydraulic hose. It is 15.2 m (50 ft) long with a 6.4 mm (0.25 in) inside diameter and 3/8 NPTF male couplers on both ends. The hose has a working pressure of 700 bar (10,000 psi) and a minimum burst pressure of 2750 bar (40,000 psi) (4:1 safety factor). The reinforced polyester and carbon steel wire construction gives low volume expansion, and the tough polyurethane outer cover resists abrasion and wear. HP series hoses are recommended for demanding applications and continuous duty, and are recognizable by their green color. With long hose lengths the pump reservoir may need refilling after the hoses are filled; hose oil capacity (cm³) = 32.1699 x length (m).
