About This Product

The HCL5002 is an HCL series high tonnage lock nut hydraulic cylinder. It is a single-acting, load return design with 500 ton capacity and 50 mm stroke. The lock nut provides secure mechanical load holding for extended periods. Collapsed height is 357 mm, outside diameter 400 mm, base mounting bolt circle 340 mm and weight 341 kg. The body, lock nut and plunger have a nitrocarburized surface. Maximum working pressure is up to 700 bar (10,000 psi). It is used for lifting, pushing and holding in heavy load work where a short stroke is sufficient and secure mechanical load holding is required.
