About This Product
CST971 is a single-acting, spring return workholding cylinder from the Enerpac CST series, featuring a 1.000-12 UNF externally threaded body. The threaded body allows it to be screwed directly into a fixture or clamping device for fine positioning.
At a maximum operating pressure of 345 bar (5,000 psi) it delivers 8.7 kN (1950 lbf) of push force. Stroke is 7.1 mm (0.28 in), effective area 2.52 cm², advance oil capacity 1.8 cm³, overall length 64.5 mm and weight approx. 0.27 kg. The body is steel with a solid plunger.
As the shortest-stroke model in the series, it is used as a push cylinder in workholding applications such as CNC machining fixtures, welding and assembly jigs where high clamping force is required in very limited space.
