CLP5002 is a single-acting, low-height locknut hydraulic cylinder from the Simplex CLP series, which has been discontinued. The locknut design holds the lifted load mechanically. The cylinder offers 500 ton (4448.2 kN) capacity, 45 mm (1.77 in) stroke and 700 bar (10,000 psi) maximum operating pressure. Collapsed height is 193 mm, extended height 243.8 mm, effective area 707.1 cm² and required oil capacity 3179.1 cm³. Body outside diameter is 401.3 mm, saddle diameter 284.5 mm, piston thread 300 x 8 mm, and weight 418 lb (approx. 190 kg).
